***
Kimi No Na Wa (Your Name) is about a high school country-girl and city-boy named Miyamizu Mitsuha and Tachibana Taki realize they have switched bodies.
Mitsuha who is fed up with her life in the countryside and wishes to be a handsome Tokyo boy in her next life, her wish become true when Taki and her realising that their bodies have been swapped when one day Mitsuha wakes up and realize that she's in Taki's body meanwhile Taki in Mitsuha's body and they're never knew or met each other before.

Mitsuha and Taki totally confused about it, but both of them trying to to get used with the situation and they're start communicating with each other by leaving notes or leaving memos in each other's phone to protect each other's lifestyle. Both of them switch a few times a week unexpectedly and their memory of the switch is hazy after both of them wake up.

I loves how Makoto Shinkai created this anime about a girl and a boy who is having different lifestyle and about Japan eastern culture like Kuchikamisake ritual, festival, kumihimo and so on. And yes,  I still remember how feminine Taki was when Mitsuha was in his body and funny when she was trying to get used with Taki friends and at the work place.

Part time job is a life in school students life in Japan dispite not all of them, I think. They're have a job after school activities. Different with us,  Malaysia. And Naruto.  Hahaha.
This is only me or anyone else who thinking like that? Haha.

Taki has a crush on his coworker, Miki and Mitsuha helps Taki get over her by arranging a date. And unsuccessful, then Taki tries to call Mitsuha but he's cannot reach her and also confusing with Mitsuha note and tries to find Mitsuha's home, accompany by Miki and Tsukasa,  one of his school friend.

An owner of a restaurant told Taki about Itomori (Mitsuha's hometown) was destroyed by a fragment of the comet. Taki can't accept that Mitsuha already died when he find Mitsuha's name in the record of fatalities and then go to find a god's shrine to drank Mitsuha's kuchikamisake at god's shrine with a hope to reconnect with her body and warn her about the comet.

Taki then sees fragments in Mitsuha's past and when Mitsuha go to Tokyo to met him, but Taki don't recognize her makes Mitsuha felt sad and cut her hair then he's wake up in Mitsuha's body,  trying to convinces Mitsuha's family but no one of them trust him including Mitsuha's father except Tessie and Sayaka. That's makes me feel happy because no matter how ridiculous your words is,  your best friends still support you although your family don't believe in you. I also learned a word in Japanese,  kataware-doki means twilight. In this anime,  twilight means when it's neither day nor night. When the world blurs and one might encounter something not human.

Taki,  in Mitsuha's body go to find Mitsuha who in Taki's body at the shrine, confusing. When twilight falls, they are returned to their own bodies and finally meets. Taki tells Mitsuha what she has to do and writes each other's names on their hands so they will remember each other. Taki wrote his on Mitsuha's hand but twilight passes and Mitsuha disappear before she can write hers. But instead of writes his name,  Taki wrote 'I love you' on Mitsuha name. Slowly,  Taki confused what he's doing here and shouting. When it comes to the morning, Taki going home to Tokyo.

Five years later, Taki, who is already graduated from university and is searching for a job and Mitsuha, who is survived from the comet crashed and lives in Tokyo recognize with each other and ask for each other's name at staircase after they are feeling as though they have met before.
I loves at the part when their train draw parallel and Mitsuha and Taki look at each other.

Kimi No Na Wa also have a great soundtrack especially Zenzenzense and Nandemonaiya. So,  I hope you guys spend time with yourself to watch this anime and have fun.

p/s : try to go to work with LRT or Commuter or Monorail,  who knows you might bump into someone who might be your other half.

  5. Hi Erni! Hey, watching anime is always cool and inspiring regardless of how old the 'watcher' is... ahahah. Those who think otherwise are just boring judgmental people who are unable to get inspired, pity them. I watch anime too whenever I have free time, and I'm a full-grown, responsible and rational adult :D
